KS3 History

"Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it" Georges Santayana. At Campion we aim to encourage in young people a love of and interest in the past.

To support our studies at this Key Stage we are visited by a 'survivor' of the Black Death and a theatre company who present a play on World War. We also visit the battlefields of the First World War to give our students a real experience of life in the trenches.

As well as this we also run several extra-curricular activities such as a History Book Club and a History Club investigating events such as Havering throughout World War Two.
