A-Level History

Our department attracts about forty students each year to study History at A-Level. Following the Edexcel Specification students cover Henry VIII and Russia (Revolution to Stalin) at AS and Superpower Relations (1944-90) as well as Ireland and the Union at A2. These completed together result in an A-Level in modern history.

To support Year 13s studying history at A2, students partake in a visit to Dublin half way through the year.
